oh how time flies

Well, well. Here it is a year after my last post. Time really flies by and I did not even realize that I had not posted in so long. Weston has just turned 2. He got a tricycle, some clothes, toys, and books. I guess that takes care of the 4 gifts that I have recently learned on pinterest...1 want, 1 need, 1 to wear, 1 to read. He had a great time opening presents and clapped and said "Yay" after each one. Weston is really a talker now. His little sentences crack me up. He often says "I dont wike it" for anything that I ask him about. He loves to play ball. He can hit when we pitch to him and can throw the ball up and hit it himself sometimes. He loves to hit it and then run around through our kitchen like he is running the bases. He also loves to ride anything, climb anything, watch barney and elmo when he is sleepy, and eats a lot of ham, bacon, chicken, and bologna, oh yeah and hotdogs. Weston went on the bike trail again over his birthday week. He loved it! WEston and I left on his birthday (after breakfast with daddy) to go to the mountains for the remainder of the week. He slept most of the way there and had such a great time while there with family. He is now using the potty some. He told me yesterday that he had to use it...and DID! I was so proud of him. This week is his first week of VBS and he is enjoying being with the other kids, as long as I am still in sight. There are about 15 in his class every night but he is the youngest because he has just turned 2. He loves the singing and I love hearing him sing. He loves to listen to Eric Church in the car and his favorite song is Springsteen. It is so funny to hear him sing it! I am really going to be better at this posting thing. I want to be able to look back and know that I kept up with milestones and events and not be reminded at how slack I am.
