25 days old

Weston went on his first mountain trip this past weekend with Nana, Granddaddy, Nette, and Tia. He had a great time and enjoyed all of the attention that he was getting the whole weekend!! He traveled so well and I was very proud of him. His daddy missed him terribly and I don't think that he will let me take him away again anytime soon without him tagging along. He is changing so much each day, and it more alert with each passing day. I enjoy watching him look around and see different things in the house. He enjoys riding in the car, and today we found out that he likes strolling down the road (it has been too hot to do it before now), and rocking on the front porch. That is what Anthony and I love to do so it is no surprise that he likes it too! We really hope that he loves the outside like we do. It is so awesome to be his parents!! Last Thursday, he was 19 days old and had his first "dinner" with Lawson, Aubrey, and Aliya. It was a short dinner at Chick fil a but fun to see all of the babies together.

Weston arrived on july 3 at 1021 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 14 oz and was 22 in long. After a long day odf labor, we had to eventually have a c-section. It was unbelievable when we were able to see him for the first tiMe. Anthony was able to help the nurses with his first bath. We stayed in the hospital until Tuesday. We were a bit neervous rto come home but have been adjusting well. We love him to pieces and could watch his facial expressions all day! He will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and it is amazing how slow weeks pass when you are pregnant and how fast they pass once he is here!! Can't wait to shaRe stories in tHe future. We have had wonderful visitors and a lot of special help!
